B-form DNA duplex

This DNA contains an . But note that F2C has fluorines in place of the carbonyl oxygens! And the internal C is now a C-H. Neither is good for H-bonding. Yet the DNA is only somewhat destabilized, much less than for a mismatch at the same position.
