Morning Hours in the Lab. The Organic Lab will be open as a resource center each week during the morning hours given below. During this time the ONLY lab work that may be done is the determination of melting points and weights. You may also consult with the TA on laboratory matters.
Save products until your next lab period for disposal. We are not set up to take wastes during AM hours.
Make-ups may not be done during these times.
Students from any of the organic lab courses may use this resource at any of the times given below. It is not necessary that you come at a time when your own TA is on duty.
YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE SHARPLY AT CLOSING TIME.
PLAN TO ARRIVE IN TIME TO COMPLETE YOUR TASK AND NO LATER THAN 15 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME FOR THAT DAY.

* Thursday morning hours: on Thur morning, another lab class is in session in sections A and B. If your locker is in one of these sections (lockers 1-32), you must get your sample and move to the unused sections, C, D, or E, to do MPs and weighings. Please be very careful to not disturb the lab that is in session. As always wear your safety glasses at all times while in the lab.
Additional TA help: for questions about your lab report it is best to contact your own TA. He or she may hold regular office hours or may arrange meetings with you via email.
