About the UMASS Chemistry Club

So what do we do here at the Chemistry Club? The club and its officers try to provide the best atmosphere of college life for everyone to enjoy. We don’t try to promote only Chemistry majors to join, if your interested in science in any way or looking for a cool place to hang out, then you’re welcome to join.

The club puts effort in providing key resources of the Chemistry department in the hands of students. Whether it would be through this website, the monthly newsletter, or inside the club itself with study groups, we strive in helping students know Chemistry.

Inside the club there are many commodities provided for you to feel comfortable, that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. There are couches here for you to sit down and study, rest, or sleep on between classes. There are computers that can be accessed by anyone for word processing, research online, or do whatever you feel like. Also the club has a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, sink, and all the necessary utensils in having a bite to eat.

Overall our goal: being the most unique club in Umass. Whether it be relaxing, studying, or just hanging out, joining this club will make you feel you truly belong here.
