I will take your exams back and adjust as appropriate. In addition to the ambiguity noted earlier, I actually made an error in grading. Given that, I will only add points, not subtract, if you got either question marked wrong, you can't lose.

- Remember that you have until Monday, October 29 to drop a class with a "W." Doing so will have no adverse impact on their cumulative average. A "W" on one's transcript is nearly always preferable to an "F." Beyond that date, "W" will not be an option.
- I will do my best to get scores from the 2nd exam to you by that date (but perhaps not much before). Of course, I hope that those of you who scored low on the last exam will do what it takes to bring your scores up, so that a "W" will not be necessary. Good luck (and works lots of problems!).
- Answers to the First Exam are available (version 1 and version 2). The class average was about 68. I'd prefer closer to 80. Remember that you will be able to drop the lowest of the in-class exam scores. But those of you who did poorly on this exam need to think carefully about what you need to do to prepare for future exams.
- The sheet of equations that you will be given on Monday is available for download. You do NOT need to bring this with you on Monday.
- Reminder: Second Exam is Monday, October 22 in AEBN0119, Ag. Engineering Bldg. room 119
- The Physical Sciences Library Reserve Desk now has copies of all lecture notes and will have copies of the texts available "soon." From the WEB site (see also the main page), you should be able to check from the WEB weather or not specific items are currently checked out (each has a 2 hr limit). At the moment, only lecture notes are listed. When the texts become available in the library, they will show up on the WEB (do NOT expect the text copies before the first exam).
- Pre-Exam Office Hours (Lederle Grad Tower Room 403)
